Luna Moth - Beaded Besom

The Luna Moth Besom is the end product of a beautiful collaboration with Ana from Changeling Jewlery Co. Ana created the original design of the wings and had them cast in yellow brass using the lost wax casting method. I then incorporated them into a besom using hand dyed broomcorn in tones reminiscent of a luna moth's wings. I wove the cap in hand dyed black reed draped in brass toned chain, and hand wrapped beads, on a turned poplar handle. We are both very proud of how this collaborative effort turned out and we hope you love it as much as we enjoyed bringing it to life.  This offering measures roughly 26 inches in length.
