Blossom- Bittersweet Hearth Sweep

This lovely Hearth Sweept is comprised of hand dyed broom corn in light minty green layered over a soft pink, stitched in waxed linen and woven reed on a softly curving Bittersweet vine handle. and measures roughly 37 inches in length by 12 inches across the sweep

Bittersweet is an invasive plant one of my FAVORITE handle resources for decorative and light duty brooms. It offers a variety of  interesting shapes (curves and spirals being some of my favorites.)
