Darkest Night Bittersweet Hearth Besom

This lovely Hearth Besom is comprised of hand dyed black black broomcorn, and stitched in black waxed linen and woven reed on a crooked Bittersweet vine handle, and measures roughly 40 inches in length

Bittersweet is one of my FAVORITE handle resources for decorative and light duty brooms. It's lightweight (meaning it won't kill your arm as you raise it to get those stubborn ceiling corners), it can also boast a variety of  interesting shapes (curves and spirals being some of my favorites.)
